Ansonia Partners Adds Senior Adviser Al Statman

NEW YORK, NY, May 18, 2018 –

Ansonia Partners LLC, an investment banking partnership that delivers comprehensive advisory and capital raising services to the energy and infrastructure sectors, announced today the addition of Al Statman as Senior Adviser.

At Ansonia, Mr. Statman will advise on the breadth of our investment banking transactions with specific focus on companies operating in industries regulated by the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission.

Mr. Statman brings extensive experience to Ansonia. For the past 33 years he was a shareholder at Wright & Talisman, a Washington, DC-based boutique energy law firm, and managing shareholder for 24 of those 33 years. Mr. Statman will be retiring from Wright & Talisman as of June 30, 2018. At Wright & Talisman, he represented investor owned utilities, electric transmission companies and natural gas companies before the FERC. His practice included representation on many of the US independent power transmission transactions. Mr. Statman was a founder of Trans-Elect, Inc., North America’s first independent transmission company. He has also been a transmission and generation developer and adviser to utilities.

Mr. Statman graduated with high honors from Oregon State and Syracuse College of Law. Mr. Statman clerked for federal judges on the U.S. District Court.
